Monetization Settings

There are 2 main things you can customize with monetization.

  • Name of Your Superfans
  • Support Amounts

Name of Your Superfans

By default, your superfans are called Superfans. It’s up to you if you want to change this for your fanbase, but sometimes podcasters like to give a name to their community. Star Trek fans are “Trekkies”. Fans of Malcolm Gladwell might be called “Outliers”. You get it!

It’s just a fun and subtle way to engage your top fans.

Support Amounts

This lets you define your default support amounts. Whenever fans see those 4 payment buttons on your fan page, this is what sets the amounts on those 3 buttons.

Feel free to play around with the amount to see what works for you! For some podcasters, small micropayments of $1, $5, $10 work really well...and for some podcasters $20, $50, $100 works well.

Whatever you choose, know that your fans can always override your suggested amounts and tip you whatever custom amount they choose.
