Embeddable Widgets
Our embeddable widgets give users a way to capture fan audio messages on their own websites.
Although we offer these widgets, we always recommend just linking fans to your PodInbox page, as there’s MUCH more functionality there that we can’t put into a simple widget.
That said, we offer several different types of widgets you can embed onto your website...
- Inline Widget (individual pages)
- Popup Widget (individual pages)
- Floating Button (all pages or individual pages)
Please note, our widgets MUST be embedded on secure HTTPS pages, as most browsers prohibit the use of microphones and cameras on non-HTTPS connections.
Inline Widget
This widget appears inline, right on your webpage. You can embed this widget on any individual page you want it to appear.
To install this widget on your website, copy the widget code and paste it exactly where you want your inbox to appear on your webpage.
Popup Widget
This widget pops up in a modal when it’s triggered by a button or a link. You can embed this widget on any individual page you want it to appear.
To install this widget, copy the script and place it anywhere just before the closing </body> tag of the webpage.
Then whether you’re using a button or a link to trigger the popup, copy and add the HTML attribute to your button or link.
Floating Button
This widget appears like a floating chat button on the bottom of your web pages. This can be simply installed across ALL pages of your website, or just the individual pages you choose.
To install this widget, copy the script and place it in the header section of your webpage. If you want this floating button to appear on your entire website, just include that script in the header section of all your pages.
Once installed, you can control the styling and behavior of this widget right there in the embed section of the dashboard.
