Chat Room Pricing

With your Chat Room, we give you the ability to set a price for fans to join your Chat Room.

This is a great way to monetize your Chat Room, by charging fans to participate in it. 

Setting Your Chat Room Pricing

You can set the Chat Room pricing described below in your PodInbox Dashboard. The 3 pricing options you can choose are:

Free

This option keeps your chat room free and open for all your fans to read and post messages. When fans post their first message, we capture that contact for your directly into your Contacts list. 

One-Time Payment

With this option, fans need to pay a 1-time payment to participate in your Chat Room. You can totally customize this flat fee to whatever amount you want in your Dashboard, under Chat Room. This makes your Chat Room a bit more exclusive, and it's a great way to monetize from fan support. 

Monthly Subscription

With this option, fans need to pay a monthly subscription fee to participate in your Chat Room. You can totally customize this monthly fee to whatever amount you want in your Dashboard, under Chat Room. This is a great way to earn monthly recurring revenue from your chat room. 

Editing Your Chat Room Pricing

You can always edit your Chat Room pricing...e.g. turning a paid Chat Room into a free Chat Room, and vice versa. 

Something to note, the newly set pricing ONLY affects fans who are NEW participants in your Chat Room. Any existing Chat Room participants just maintains whatever Chat Room pricing they initially joined at. 

So, if you want a free Chat Room participant to start paying for your Chat Room, AFTER you switched your Chat Room pricing to paid, you'll have to first remove that free Chat Room participant so that they can join again under the new pricing.
